Slo-Pitch Baseball Tournament

 14th Annual Charity Tournament

Kilmer Park, North Vancouver

July 18 - 19, 2009

The tournament is meant for recreation level teams that want to help CPC Greater Vancouver raise money to support the club’s work with various charities including Special Olympics BC, Big Brothers, Big Sisters and Small Talk.

It’s a truly unique tournament where 14 teams will compete in a way that emphasizes overall participation, sportsmanship and fun. Not only do teams get points for winning games but they are also awarded points for sportsmanship, as well as for their purchases from the BBQ or Beer Garden. This tournament format ensures that the winning teams are the ones who have raised the most overall funds for our charities. It also guarantees that everyone has a great time.

Our special BBQ includes mouth-watering breakfast sandwiches and the best burgers around. In between games, teams can enjoy the fun atmosphere in the Beer Garden which is sheltered in case of rain.

To encourage teams to work extra hard to raise as much as possible in team pledges, there will be an extra special prize for the team that raises the most funds in pledges.

Once your team has registered, you will receive more information regarding the Team Pledges program as well as your Team Pledges forms and instructions. Please register as soon as possible. To encourage teams to register early, there is an Early Bird Entry Fee of $300 for teams that register by 1 June 2009.  After 1 June, the regular Entry Fee of  $350 will apply.
